We may also collect information from other health professionals (such as a referring doctor), your health fund, Medicare, or the Department of Veterans' Affairs, where relevant to your care and with your consent where required.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Overseas Disclosure
Some of the third-party service providers we use (including Cliniko and Mailchimp) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to require these providers to handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Where a service provider is located overseas, you may have limited ability to seek recourse under Australian privacy law directly against that provider.
7. How We Protect and Maintain Your Information
We take reasonable technical, physical, and administrative steps to protect the personal and health information we hold, including:

● Confidentiality expectations for all practitioners and staff handling patient information
We take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we hold is accurate, complete, and up to date. Health records are retained for the period required under applicable Victorian health records legislation. If we no longer need personal information and are not required by law to retain it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
8. Marketing Communications
From time to time, we may send you information about our services, appointment availability, or clinic updates by email or SMS. By providing your contact details, you consent to receiving this type of communication, unless you tell us otherwise.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to our SMS messages, or contacting us directly using the details in Section 13. Opting out of marketing will not affect appointment reminders or communications necessary for your ongoing care.
9. Access and Correction
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or misleading. To make a request, please contact us using the details in Section 13.
We will respond to access requests within a reasonable timeframe. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee to cover the cost of retrieving and providing your information. We may decline a request for access in certain circumstances permitted by law, and where we do, we will provide reasons where required.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 13. We will investigate your complaint and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
